followers! Hope all is well with everyone. I haven’t really been blogging much lately considering I have been really trying to figure some HUGE decisions out.
I have been really considering doing missions as my career for years, but always have never given it a fair chance considering I wanted “college experience” or because I just thought it was unrealistic and honestly down right scary. For the past several months, God has been bringing this strong missions yearning into my heart. So I have been doing lots of research, talking to a lot of people and really praying about it while studying the word. It’s amazing when you ask, seek and knock, how loud and clear the Lord speaks.
I attend ASU, a college in Arizona and “was” currently studying Sociology to someday be a counselor. I have for months been contemplating taking time off and see what the Lord really wants me to do considering I feel it is nothing that ASU offers. Today I got up, prayed to the Lord that he would make it clear if he wanted me to stay in school or do missions. I went to financial aid, student accounts and registrar to see the steps of withdrawing. This “withdrawing” is so scary to me, but I soon found out that i actually could do it with no repercussions. I have to pay no money back for grants because I was before the deadline and soon found out I was also before the deadline to not get a W on my transcript. As I was going from cubicle station to building around campus I was just praying that the Lord would make it evident of what he wants me to do. As I am waiting to talk to the final person about finalizing my withdraw I open my memory verse application on my phone which I just bought last night. I haven’t really looked at it and it had all these random bible verses, as I am waiting this is the verse I read,
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[f] How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”[g]
—Romans 10:13-14
This literally gave me tears in my eyes, and I would have started crying right there in the hall with people around me if I didn’t have the lady come out and call my name. The Lord spoke volumes to me and gave me a confirmation and peace that this is truly the way he wants me to go. It’s amazing. God is so so so great and I truly know I experienced a miracle today. Everything went so smoothly, which in my opinion is another way of God letting me know that this is right. I just had to share considering I couldn’t just keep this to myself and the others I have told. The Lord is good, and we just need to ask, seek and knock.

7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. 8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it”

i just came across this verse for the first time- and i’m so happy I did! It is just what I needed to hear. Lord, help lead me in the right direction, all glory going to you.

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
